Palestine, a region eternally interwoven with the divine, stands as a haven of spiritual significance. Al Quds, or Jerusalem, is a city where holy sites are cherished by Christianity and Islam, serving as a testament to the harmonious coexistence of diverse faiths on this sacred soil.
The annals of Palestinian history weave a tapestry that stretches across millennia. From the biblical narratives that echo through the cobbled streets of Bethlehem to the echoes of the Quran resonating in the air, this blessed land bears witness to the stories of prophets, empires, and the resilient people who have called it home.
Throughout the ages, Palestine has been a crossroads of civilizations. The ancient city of Jericho, with its archaeological remnants dating back thousands of years, stands as a testament to the endurance of human settlement. The bustling markets of Nablus echo with the whispers of traders from diverse cultures, each leaving an indelible mark on the cultural mosaic that defines this remarkable land.
Hospitality is not just a virtue in Palestine; it is a way of life. The generosity of the Palestinian people is legendary, extending warm welcomes to visitors and strangers alike. The traditional dabke dance, a communal celebration of life and unity, and the art of embroidery, which tells stories through intricate stitches, showcase a culture deeply rooted in tradition and shared humanity.
The olive tree, deeply rooted in the Palestinian soil, symbolizes more than just an agricultural resource. It stands as an emblem of resilience, steadfastness, and a deep connection to the land. The olive groves not only contribute to the region's economy but also serve as living witnesses to the endurance of a people who have weathered centuries of challenges.
The history of Palestine is not without its challenges. The struggles of displacement, occupation, and geopolitical tensions have cast shadows over this sacred land. Yet, through adversity, the people of Palestine persist, drawing strength from their rich history, cultural heritage, and an indomitable spirit that refuses to be extinguished.
In the embrace of the Holy Land, the story of Palestine continues to unfold, marked by the echoes of the past, the resilience of the present, and the unwavering hope for a future where the people of this blessed land can live in peace and prosperity.
Nestled within the heart of the Old City of Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa Mosque stands as an enduring symbol of spiritual significance for Muslims around the world. As the third holiest site in Islam, after Mecca and Medina, Al-Aqsa holds profound historical and religious importance.
The mosque, along with the Dome of the Rock, dominates the skyline of Jerusalem and is an integral part of the larger Al-Haram Al-Sharif (the Noble Sanctuary). According to Islamic tradition, Al-Aqsa is believed to be the place from which the Prophet Muhammad ascended to the heavens during the Night Journey.
Built in the 7th century, Al-Aqsa Mosque has witnessed centuries of change, conflict, and religious devotion. Its architecture, a blend of Islamic and Byzantine influences, reflects the cultural diversity that characterizes the history of Jerusalem.
Despite being a site of reverence, Al-Aqsa Mosque has also been a focal point of political and territorial disputes. The management and control of the holy site have been sources of tension between different religious and political entities.
The Keffiyeh, a traditional Palestinian headdress, transcends its utilitarian purpose and becomes a potent symbol of identity, resistance, and solidarity. Worn by Palestinians for generations, the black and white checkered pattern of the Keffiyeh has become synonymous with the Palestinian struggle for self-determination.
Originally a practical garment designed to protect against the harsh sun and blowing desert sands, the Keffiyeh evolved into a powerful symbol during the Palestinian resistance movements of the mid-20th century.
The distinctive pattern of the Keffiyeh carries deep cultural significance, with each fold and crease telling a story of heritage and resilience. In recent times, the Keffiyeh has transcended its regional roots, becoming a global symbol of solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
Whether draped over the shoulders of activists, artists, or individuals expressing their support worldwide, the Keffiyeh continues to serve as a tangible link to the land and identity of Palestine. Its enduring presence symbolizes the unyielding spirit of a people who, like Al-Aqsa Mosque, persist in the face of challenges, asserting their cultural identity and the right to exist on their sacred land.
Palestine Key Chains, often depicted as a symbol of return, represents the right of Palestinian refugees to reclaim their homes.
The Palestinian flag, with its distinctive black, white, green, and red bands, embodies the collective aspirations of a nation. Each color carries significance, from the green representing the land to the red symbolizing the sacrifices made in the pursuit of freedom.
Together, these symbols form a visual language of identity, heritage, and a relentless spirit that refuses to be extinguished. They stand as a testament to the enduring strength of a people who continue to resist, persist, and hope for a future where justice and peace prevail in their sacred land.

]]>Zakat is one of the most significant pillars of Islam, and it is mandatory for all Muslims who meet certain conditions. In Arabic, Zakat means "purification" and "growth," and it is a form of alms-giving that is designed to purify the wealth of the individual and promote growth in their spiritual and social well-being. In this blog post, we will explore the importance, benefits, and obligations of Zakat in Islam.
Zakat is a mandatory charitable obligation that is based on the Islamic belief in the sharing of wealth and the responsibility of the affluent to care for the less fortunate in society. Zakat is a means of providing a system of social welfare that is based on the principles of Islamic charity and social justice. It is considered to be the third pillar of Islam after the declaration of faith (Shahada) and prayer (Salah).
The Quran states: "And establish prayer and give Zakat, and whatever good you put forward for yourselves - you will find it with Allah. Indeed, Allah of what you do is Seeing." (Quran 2:110)
Zakat is mandatory for all Muslims who meet certain criteria. The conditions for Zakat are as follows:
1. Possession of Nisab: The individual must have a certain amount of wealth or assets known as Nisab. The amount of Nisab varies depending on the type of assets and the current market value.
2. Ownership of the Assets: The individual must have full ownership of the assets for a complete lunar year (Hijri).
3. The Assets Must be Productive: The assets must be productive, meaning that they must be able to generate income or increase in value over time.
4. The Assets Must Meet Certain Criteria: The assets must be of a certain type, such as gold, silver, livestock, or agricultural produce.
5. The Zakat Must be Paid Annually: Zakat must be paid annually, and it is based on the value of the assets at the end of the lunar year.
Zakat is an essential component of Islamic teachings that promotes social justice, compassion, and spiritual growth. There are several reasons why Zakat is important in Islam:
1. Fulfillment of Religious Obligation: Zakat is one of the five pillars of Islam, and it is a mandatory obligation for all Muslims who meet the criteria. By giving Zakat, Muslims fulfill their religious obligations and show their devotion to Allah.
2. Promotion of Social Justice: Zakat is a means of promoting social justice in society. It is a form of wealth redistribution that helps to reduce poverty and promote economic stability. Zakat ensures that wealth is not concentrated in the hands of a few individuals but is shared among the less fortunate in society.
3. Spiritual Growth: Zakat is also an essential component of spiritual growth in Islam. By giving Zakat, Muslims purify their wealth and seek the pleasure of Allah. Zakat is considered to be a means of cleansing the soul and increasing one's closeness to Allah.
4. Economic Benefits: Zakat also has significant economic benefits for society. It helps to stimulate economic activity, promote investment, and create job opportunities. Zakat is a means of providing a safety net for the less fortunate in society and ensuring that they have access to the basic necessities of life.

]]>Hajj is usually referred to as the major pilgrimage or the Pilgrimage, and `Umrah as the lesser one.
Both Hajj and `Umrah consist of a journey to Makkah that involves certain rituals such as ihram, circumambulating the Ka`bah, walking between the hills of Safa and Marwah, and shaving or cutting the hair.
The above are the basic rituals of `Umrah while Hajj has these and additional rituals, including spending days and nights in `Arafah, Mina, and Muzdalifah – areas neighboring the city of Makkah.
Another difference between the major and minor pilgrimages is that there is a prescribed time for Hajj whereas `Umrah can be performed at any time in the year.
In addition, Hajj and `Umrah differ regarding the ruling of each of them as discussed below.
The ruling of Hajj is that it is a pillar (pillar) of Islam which means that it requires adherence to its rules for it to be considered valid Islamically
Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam, meaning it is required in order to be a Muslim. It is also considered a great act of worship, and many Muslims make the pilgrimage at least once in their lifetime.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Islam has been built on five [pillars]: testifying that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammed is the Messenger of Allah, performing the prayers, paying the zakah, making the pilgrimage to the House, and fasting in Ramadan."
As such, all Muslims are obligated to perform Hajj at least once in their lifetime if they meet certain age requirements and are able to do so. However, there are some who believe this obligation can be fulfilled by other forms of worship or spiritual activities as well.
Hajj and `Umrah
Little boys and girls are not required to do Hajj or `Umrah. It is acceptable and rewardable to let them participate with their families in performing Hajj and `Umrah, but they are still required to do Hajj and `Umrah again when they reach the age of puberty,
1. Having a wet dream
2. Ejaculating semen
3. Reaching the age of 15
4. Growing pubic hair
5. Menstruating
c. Are same Insane people are not required to perform the acts of worship until they regain their sanity.
d. Have the ability As it is clear from the above verse, Hajj is only required from those able to do it.
Hajj is an annual pilgrimage to Mecca that is required of all Muslims. If a person is unable to make Hajj, they are expected to send someone else in their place.
The first step in performing Hajj is finding out if the person needs to make it or not. There are three categories of people who are excused from performing Hajj:
ill people and those too old to perform Hajj, as well as those who are financially unable to afford it.
If you think that you might be one of these categories, here's what you can do:
1. Have your doctor write a letter saying that you are sick and cannot perform Hajj at this time.
2. Get an appointment with your local hospital so that they can give you a physical exam and then write a letter saying that you are too old to perform Hajj at this time (although it does not have to come from a doctor).
3. Find out if there is anyone else in your family who can go instead of you—if not, then either pay someone else or ask them if they would like to go instead!
Hajj is one of the Five Pillars of Islam, and every able-bodied Muslim must perform it at least once in their lifetime.
It is a critical aspect of Islamic belief and worship, which can be performed at any age.
4. There are 3 modes of Hajj: Ifrad, Tamatu`, and Qiran.
Ifrad is performed only once during a lifetime. It involves performing the rituals of Hajj only.
Tamatu` involves a complete `Umrah and a complete Hajj, each separated from the other. This means that the `Umrah is performed first in the months of Hajj and after completing it one goes out of the state of ihram.
Afterward on Dhul-Hijjah 8 one initiates ihram once again for performing Hajj.
Qiran is a combination of `Umrah and Hajj, performed with no break between them. After performing `Umrah one remains in the state of ihram until starting the rituals of Hajj on Dhul-Hijjah 8

The government of Saudi Arabia decided to reduce the cost of Hajj insurance for foreign pilgrims by 73%. This reduction is effective through the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
This universal policy belongs to those who come from outside the Kingdom to perform the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage, which covers emergency cases while Kafes in the kingdom, such as a stay in a hospital, childbirth, or return of the deceased to his homeland.
Saudi Arabia has lifted the ban on Hajj and Umrah for people over 65 years of age. The new Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, who took charge in October, announced that beginning January 10, travelers to the Kingdom can make Hajj or Umrah as long as they have a valid passport. Those who qualify will receive an Umrah or Hajj visa permitting them to stay in Saudi Arabia for 90 days
Following the Kingdom’s efforts to improve the worship of Umrah visitors, the Hajj and Umrah Committee was established with directives to regulate, facilitate, and optimize all related services in order to meet all future challenges and maintain its position as a leading leader in Hajj management.
Islamic women's attire can be as simple as a long kaftan, long tunic, jelbab, or long button-down shirt with an ankle-length skirt and a hijab, also called hijab in Arabic. In fact, Islamic women's clothing can be almost any type of plain clothing that becomes Islamic when it covers the body according to Islamic dress codes and etiquette. Influenced by mainstream design trends (minus the skin), Muslim women's clothing is taken in a colorful direction and becomes Muslim fashion. Since the dress code for women is slightly stricter than for men, we found that Western Muslim women had the most difficulty finding clothes that would pass the Islamic dress test and be both attractive and functional for their busy lives. Unsurprisingly, we also see many Muslim women show their utmost ingenuity and creativity when mixing and matching pieces they find in mainstream stores with specially designed Islamic clothing, creating simple, gorgeous and pleasing Clothes and say loudly you are Islamic fashion.
Similar to the hijab, it is a popular veil worn by many Islamic women. Hijab covers the head and neck. The hijab, popular in the Arab world and the west, is one of the most coveted pieces of clothing, and even big brands like Nike have launched sports hijabs for female athletes.
Islamic clothing, also known as the hijab or veil, is worn by Muslims in modern Islamic countries and by many Muslims living in primarily non-Islamic countries. Developed from statements in the holy book of Islam, the Qur'an, the rules of Muslim attire require, first and foremost, modest and concise attire. Generally speaking, Islamic attire consists of loose clothing that covers the body and head, but no one attire is suitable for all Muslims. Some governments, religious leaders, and Islamic sects often have very strict standards for modesty. Meanwhile, in urban areas such as the Egyptian capital, Cairo, modest dress codes tend to be more relaxed, allowing more Western-style attire. However, most devout Muslims try to follow the rules of modesty first laid down in the Qur'an and in the words of Islam's founder, the Prophet Muhammad (c. 570-632).

Quran is our holy book that was sent down on Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W) over the period of 23 years. Before its revelation, there existed other three Islamic books as well, but most teachings in them were changed. Whereas the Quran is the complete code of life which guides us about different parts of society like morals, social affairs, politics, ethics and so much more. Since its revelation till the end of this world, this book has the ability to guide all future generations with its code of ethics for humanity.
Now we'll see what is the importance of reading Quran and why we should read it daily:
In Surah Ibrahim Allah subhan wa tala says:
“A Book We have sent down to you so that you may bring forth mankind from the darkness into the light”.
We need guidance in every aspect of our life and the best guidance we can find is in the Quran. It is a manual for our everyday life. From trivial matters to the important things related to society, worship or personal matters, the Quran provides us with detailed guidance on how we should lead a good and happy life.
You'll be amazed to know that reading even one small word of the Quran, you will be rewarded for 10 good deeds. Subhan Allah. Now imagine how many Good deeds you will earn by just reading a surah.
The Quran will stand witness for its readers on the day of judgement and ask for forgiveness for its readers. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
"The Quran is a proof for you or against you."
Which means that it can give testimony in your favour or it will reveal that you didn't pay heed to Allah's commandments and didn't act upon its sayings.
When you read the Quran you feel like Allah is conversing with you. As you move from one verse to another you learn about what pleases Allah and from what things should we refrain from. It makes you feel closer to Allah.
The Quran brings blessing to a person and brings the spirit of monitoring in. It motivates us to do better. Inspires us by narrating the tales of ancient times and prophets. And the purpose of sending Quran is defined by Allah in this verse:
"A Book (the Quran) which We have sent down to you, full of blessings that they may ponder over its Verses, and that men of understanding may receive admonition.” Success of both worlds lies in the Quran. We can unlock it by fully grasping its principles.
If you are not reading the Quran on a daily basis trust me you are missing out on a lot of things. I know many of us have hectic routines but taking only 5 minutes out of your schedule for the Quran is enough. Read as much as you can be it a one ruku or a whole surah or even a one verse but read with understanding. It is a source of our communication with Allah. It also cleanses our hearts and helps us become a good Muslim and human being. May Almighty Allah give us all the chance to read it daily and act upon its teachings. Ameen!

Face oils are mega multitaskers. They provide your skin with an extra layer of protection to trap ...
]]>
People have used oils to hydrate their hair and skin for centuries, but you might still have questions about how face oils fit into your skincare routine. For example, should oily skin types steer clear? Is face oil a hydrator all on its own? Keep reading for all the details on face oil benefits and how to use different oils to upgrade your beauty regimen.
Face oils can function as emollients, which add moisture, and as occlusives, which lock in moisture. Each type of face oil has a unique combination of essential nutrients and fatty acids that nourish and revitalize the skin within the stratum corneum, the outermost layer of the skin.
Face oils are mega multitaskers. They provide your skin with an extra layer of protection to trap in moisture while also addressing a host of other skin concerns. Some face oil benefits include:
While these benefits can be expected across the board, each type of face oil has different qualities to consider. Here’s a breakdown of the most common face oils.
Argan oil is a lightweight, luxe face oil composed of fatty acids, vitamin E and linoleic acids. These properties combine to prevent moisture loss and soften the outermost skin layer.
The antiseptic properties of tea tree oil help control the skin's natural oil production. Because tea tree is an essential oil, you need to dilute it before application to prevent irritation. Look for products that contain tea tree oil rather than applying it directly to your skin.
This oil has ultra-soothing, anti-inflammatory benefits that help resolve skin conditions. Since jojoba oil balances sebum production, you can use it as a treatment to clear acne and curb future breakouts.
Rosehip oil is gentle and packed with antioxidants and phytonutrients that support a healthy skin barrier. It's lauded for the radiant glow it brings to skin, as well as its anti-irritant properties.
Marula oil has key amino acids that help reduce trans-epidermal moisture loss. It leaves skin well-nourished and hydrated, maintaining the skin barrier function.
Think of coconut oil as a once-a-week overnight treatment to increase hydration and keep skin feeling supple. Because it's highly comedogenic it can clog pores, so be mindful of that if you have oily skin
.
So, what's the best oil for your face? Here are the recommended face oils for every skin type:
Now that you're familiar with the different types of skin oils for the face, let's dive into how they fit into your skin routine day.
The general rule is to layer your products in order of consistency, starting with the lightest and ending with the thickest. But what about face serum vs. face oil? Since oil is the densest product in your routine and takes the longest to absorb, it should be applied last.
For maximum hydration, mix your face oil into your moisturize or apply it afterward to lock in its water content. While you can use face oil every day, consider reserving it for nighttime. This is because you should be using sunscreen year-round during your morning routine (including in winter) and your face oil could make it less effective.
Proper application is crucial to getting the most out of your skincare products. It's a good rule of thumb to wait a minute between each layer of product to allow it to fully penetrate. Follow these steps once you get to the final stage of applying face oil:
Finding the right face oil for your skin type and needs can unlock your best skin yet. This essential step is brilliant for delivering extra nourishment and targeting multiple skin concerns at once. Be sure to chat with your dermatologist before switching up your skincare ritual to get expert recommendations.
